His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, SEA Games Federation Honorary Life President and President of the Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council watched the Karate event of the 33rd SEA Games, Thailand 2025, 11th December 2025. The event took place at the Chaeng Watthana Government Complex, in which Brunei Darussalam's athletes competed in the Men and Women's Team Kata.
The match for bronze medal in the Men's Team Kata category, trio Farhin 'Idlan Mohamad Shamrin, Muhd Harith Dahlan, and Awangku Ahmad Munib Aiman Pengiran Haji Md Hasimudin lost to athletes from Viet Nam. The gold medal went to host Thailand, while Malaysia bagged the silver medal, whereas Viet Nam and the Philippines shared the bronze medal.
Meanwhile in the Women's Team Kata, Farhah Syahirah Mohd Shamrin, Rodhyatul Adhwanna Bakar, and Farhana Najeeha Abdul Rahman placed fourth. Viet Nam won the gold medal, while the silver medal went to Thailand, whereas Malaysia and Indonesia shared the bronze medal.
